As always there will be two helmet parks this year for visitors to the BFoM, organised and run by the Christian Motorcyclists' Association UK (CMA).
It's a great service and we all know how much of a releif it is to be able to drop your lid off at a safe place and not have to carry it around all day. Who are the Christian Motorcyclists' Association UK? The Christian Motorcyclists' Association UK began in 1983, known as CMA (UK) for short. They are part of CMA http://www.cmainternational.org/ and have formed close links with Christian Motorcyclists' clubs throughout the UK and Europe to help and encourage each other in sharing the Gospel. On the 26th of May 2000 the Christian Motorcyclists' Association UK became UK registered charity No 1080911. In June 2007 the "CMA UK" in partnership with the "UK Bible Society" and "Bibles For The Nations" produced a pocket sized Biker Bible. It was launched in June 2007 at the Centenary Isle of Man TT, and in one day alone 393 bibles were taken. Between then and December 2010, 42,000 Biker Bibles have been requested by bikers at shows, rallies, race circuits and personal conversations etc. The feedback has been superb and opened up new avenues of reaching bikers and their families with the Love of God. Many churches and individuals have sponsored the printing of a Biker Bible at a cost of £2.00 per copy. As Christian Motorcyclists, CMA are passionate about sharing the Gospel in every area of the motorcycling community. As motorcyclists there is nothing more exciting than riding a motorcycle, but as Christians they have discovered that there is nothing as fulfilling as knowing Jesus personally. The morning service at the Methodist Church will be taken by CMA Towcester Branch.
